Built One Event at a Time
American Party Lights started the way most great things do — with a leap of faith and not much else. In 2014, we launched our website without a single light in our inventory. When the first orders came in, we maxed out our credit card to buy the equipment needed to fill them.
That scrappy beginning taught us everything about what customers actually need: affordable lighting, transparent pricing, and a rental process simple enough that anyone can do it themselves. So that's exactly what we built.
Order by order, event by event, we grew from a small family operation into a nationwide rental company with thousands of professional-grade lights in our inventory. Along the way, we made the decision to go all-in — leaving our full-time jobs to focus exclusively on helping people transform their events with light.
Today, we ship lighting equipment to events in 48 states. Weddings, corporate galas, school dances, backyard parties — if it needs to glow, we've got it covered. And we're still the same family business that started with nothing but a website and a credit card.
